Empowering Healthcare Innovation: TLI Chairman & President Bill Oldham Featured on One World Initiative
At Thought Leadership & Innovation Foundation (TLI), we're passionate about driving innovative solutions to healthcare challenges. That's why we're thrilled to share that our Chairman and President, Bill Oldham, was recently invited to conduct a broadcast interview with One World Initiative (OWI).
OWI, a nonprofit global public broadcast organization, increases cooperation worldwide through broadcast programming, integrated media, printed materials and international events, where he articulated the value of innovation, data and public policy in creating more equitable solutions and improving patient outcomes.

In the interview, Bill emphasized the importance of resolving unmet healthcare needs, especially in underserved communities, where financial strain and other barriers often result in worsening conditions over time. He explained that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental human right and TLI is dedicated to driving innovation to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, has access to the care they need.
Bill expressed confidence in the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data in healthcare. These technologies, he explained, can empower patient engagement, optimize provider efficiency and address social determinants of health. He also highlighted the role of telemedicine and patient portals in making healthcare more accessible and convenient for patients.
"I am extremely optimistic about the future of healthcare and growing awareness of the importance of nutrition, activity and mental health," he shared. "But there is an urgent need for a more equitable healthcare system, and this is what reinforces TLI's commitment to driving positive change in the industry."
TLI's Initiatives Reflect this Commitment:
· Limb Loss and Preservation Registry (LLPR): In partnership with the Mayo Clinic and National Institutes of Health (NIH), LLPR is the only registry in the US advancing better patient outcomes for over 5 million Americans living with acquired limb loss and congenital limb difference.
· Age-Related Macular Degeneration Patient Portal: Developed with the American Macular Degeneration Foundation (AMDF), this portal will provide links to information and resources for patients and families living with macular degeneration, collecting patient outcomes data for future research.
· Autism Knowledge Gateway: A research gateway where healthcare providers can access research articles through a single library and collaborate confidentially on treatment plans.
